Job Description

Responsibilities

As a Delivery Manager at NSC, you can work remotely, with flexible working hours.

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Delivery Manager with a strong technical background to lead the successful execution of client projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction. This role is critical in scaling our delivery operations and is structured as a leadership track position toward Chief Delivery Officer (CDO).

This role is positioned on the Leadership Track, with growth toward the Chief Delivery Officer (CDO). As you progress, you will:

  • Take on wider portfolio management responsibilities
  • Participate in strategic planning and executive decision-making
  • Lead transformation initiatives across delivery functions
  • Own delivery governance and company-wide client satisfaction metrics

Main responsibilities:

Project Oversight & Delivery Leadership

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery across multiple teams and clients, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline
  • Work closely with technical leads and project managers to ensure team alignment and execution
  • Monitor KPIs across delivery teams and drive continuous improvement

Presales & Client Engagement

  • Participate in presales activities, including requirement analysis, solution design, and estimation
  • Collaborate with the sales team to prepare proposals and Statements of Work (SoW)
  • Join bidding and pitching sessions as a technical and delivery advisor
  • Support project onboarding and transition from presales to delivery
  • Advise clients on software architecture, technology stack, and delivery models (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Suggest improvements to delivery processes, tools, and governance models

Team Building & Growth

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing delivery teams (PMs, BAs, Developers, QA, etc.)
  • Promote a culture of ownership, learning, and excellence
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and capability development

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain regular communication, reporting, and status updates
  • Build trust-based relationships through transparency and reliability

Operational Excellence

  • Implement delivery best practices, frameworks, and metrics (Agile, Scrum, OKRs)
  • Optimize delivery processes for scalability, consistency, and quality
  • Collaborate with Sales and Tech teams to align business goals with delivery capabilities
  • Contribute to resource planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Drive initiatives to improve profitability, client satisfaction, and team performance
  • Identify opportunities for business growth through efficient delivery models

Job Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English communication
  • 5+ years of experience in project or delivery management in IT/software services, with technical background (e.g., former Developer, Technical Lead, Solution Architect, or similar roles)
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), system architecture, and modern engineering practices
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-team, technical projects on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid)
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, MS Project)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and expectation management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Comfortable with KPIs, delivery metrics, and continuous improvement
  • High ownership, accountability, and business mindset

Nice-to-have skills and experience

  • Experience scaling delivery operations in fast-growing or startup environments
  • Experience working with enterprise or international clients
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management (margin, P&L)
  • Experience managing hybrid or remote teams across time zones
  • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, ITIL
  • Experience in product-led environments
  • Change management or transformation experience
  • Exposure to CRM/ERP systems
  • Strong data literacy (OKRs, reporting, performance tracking)
