JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

As an engineer at NSC, you will have the opportunity to work remotely, with fixed working hours from 6AM to 2PM Vietnam time. Also your responsibilities will include implementing customer requirements based on project priorities set during planning sessions. 

We are building a SaaS platform and are looking for a motivated Fullstack Developer to join our engineering team

You’ll work directly with our current developers to deliver key features in the ongoing build. This is a great opportunity to jump into a live project, quickly get up to speed, and contribute meaningful code to critical product areas.

Main tasks

• Develop, enhance, and maintain core platform features using Remix and NestJS.
• Implement and refine modules such as Actions Management, Communications & Notifications, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Build and extend dynamic form field types (e.g., custom variables/lists) within the platform’s form builder.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver polished, consistent, and accessible user experiences.
• Write and maintain unit tests (Jest) and end-to-end tests (Playwright) to ensure stability and quality.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile development processes.
• Contribute to improving developer workflows through AI-assisted coding, testing, and documentation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with TypeScript, Remix, and NestJS.
• Ability to quickly understand and work productively within an existing codebase.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, component-based front-end development, and backend architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with AI-driven development workflows (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, or similar).
• Experience writing automated tests with Jest and Playwright.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working within or overlapping with the Australian timezone (AEST/AEDT).
• Pragmatic mindset — balancing speed and quality while keeping code clean and maintainable.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing SaaS applications and implementing role-based access control (RBAC).
• Experience with form builders or dynamic UI components.
• Familiarity with secure authentication flows, scalable architectures, or performance optimization.
