JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

As a Senior Front-End Engineer at NSC, you will have the opportunity to work remotely, with fixed working hours from 3 PM to 11 PM (Vietnam time), the rest is flexible.

We are seeking a Senior Front-end Developer with a deep understanding of Shopify’s Liquid template language, theme architecture, and template organization. In this role, you’ll play a key part in building and optimizing custom Shopify storefronts that are fast, responsive, and highly interactive.

You’ll collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and backend engineers to bring e-commerce experiences to life—from custom themes to advanced front-end features and third-party integrations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Qualifications:

• • Liquid Mastery: Deep understanding of Shopify Liquid syntax, theme architecture, and template organization.
  • Theme Extensions: Familiarity with Shopify’s extension APIs to build and integrate custom features within themes.
  • JavaScript Proficiency: Ability to implement complex logic using JavaScript for dynamic components and interactions.
  • Checkout & Account Extensions: Experience customizing checkout flows and account pages within Shopify’s framework.
  • Shopify APIs: Comfortable working with Storefront API, and other Shopify endpoints for data manipulation.
  • Performance & Scalability: Skills to optimize code and maintain stability under high traffic and complex business demands.
  • Version Control & Collaboration: Usage of Git and cross-functional collaboration for seamless development and deployment.
  • Fluent in English

Nice-to-have Knowledge & Experience:

• • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) or Shopify’s Hydrogen.
  • Familiarity with headless commerce architecture.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and web accessibility standards.
  • Experience working with internationalization/localization in Shopify stores. 
  • Previous work in an agency or fast-paced product team.
