JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

As a Product Owner / Project Manager  at NSC, you will have the opportunity to work remotely, with fixed working hours from 3PM to 11PM Vietnam time. 

We are looking for a Product Owner / Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of AI-native software products. This role combines product ownership and project management responsibilities, requiring someone who can define product requirements, manage stakeholders, prioritize delivery, and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

You will work closely with AI Engineers, Developers, QA, Designers, and business stakeholders to ensure products are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with user and business needs.

 

Main responsibilities:

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring features are prioritized based on business value and user impact.
• Gather, analyze, and translate stakeholder requirements into clear user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Define and maintain product roadmaps, milestones, and delivery plans.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment between business and technical stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and scope changes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates and status reports.
• Review and approve completed features against defined acceptance criteria.
• Support AI-native development processes, including specification-driven development and continuous delivery practices.
• Drive product success by focusing on outcomes, quality, and user value.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Product Owner, Product Manager, Project Manager, or similar roles within software development environments.
• Strong experience in backlog management, prioritization frameworks, roadmap planning, and Agile delivery.
• Proven ability to write user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Solid understanding of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and software development lifecycles.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good technical understanding of software architecture, APIs, CI/CD, testing, and development best practices.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams and participating in technical discussions.
• Hands-on experience with project and collaboration tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Miro, Confluence, or GitHub.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-have skills and experience

• Experience working on AI, GenAI, or AI-assisted software development projects.
• Familiarity with tools such as Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar AI platforms.
• Experience in SaaS, consumer platforms, creator economy products, or data-driven product development.
• Experience working with distributed teams and international stakeholders.
• Previous experience in software outsourcing, consulting, or IT services environments.
