Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with a strong technical background and the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin (Chinese) to work with our Taiwan-based stakeholders.

In this role, you will act as a bridge between business and engineering teams, ensuring smooth project delivery while maintaining high technical standards. The ideal candidate is not only experienced in project management but also has hands-on understanding of modern technologies such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.

This position offers opportunities for onsite work in Taiwan, requiring flexibility for business travel or relocation when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end software development projects from planning to delivery.
• Act as the key communication bridge between clients (Taiwan) and internal engineering teams.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Work closely with developers to ensure feasibility, scalability, and quality of deliverables.
• Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and risks effectively.
• Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment between technical execution and business goals.
• Support troubleshooting and resolve project issues in a timely manner.

Drive continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and delivery efficiency.

Job Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of experience in Project Management or Technical Project Management in software development.
• Solid technical background with hands-on or prior experience in:
• Java
• Python
• JavaScript
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.

Must-have requirements

• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (HSK4+ or equivalent) – able to communicate in work settings (listening & speaking required).
• Good English communication skills (for internal collaboration).
